CARE...

From the old Anglo Saxon word KARA, which means "to lament."

CARE is not
the same as CURE.

To CURE is to make better. To solve the problem. To answer the question.

To CARE is in many ways more challenging. It requires that we stay present with others long enough to know their experience and assure them of our support.

In the world of work we solve lots of problems. So many, in fact, that sometimes we may seem uncaring.

Our challenge is to continue to be effective in solving problems, but do so in a CAREFUL manner.

It can be done! (This has much to do with communication, especially with the art of listening!)
